Admissions Consultation - 2027 2028

Dear Consultees,

The Governing Body of Barkisland Church of England Voluntary Aided Primary School is undertaking a formal consultation on its proposed Admissions Policy for 2027/28.

The consultation period will run from Thursday 18 December 2025 to Thursday 29 January 2026.

The proposed policy includes a change to the oversubscription criteria, specifically the addition of attendance at Little Lambs Nursery as a criterion within the policy.

A copy of the proposed Admissions Policy is attached to this email for your consideration.

We welcome any comments, representations, or responses to the proposed policy. These should be submitted by email to admin@barkisland.calderdale.sch.uk with the subject header:

All responses received by the closing date will be carefully considered by the Governing Body before the policy is finalised.
