Welcome to the Year 6 class page!

In Year 6 you will be taught by me (Miss Womersley) everyday, except Monday afternoons when Mrs Bromley will teach you. Mrs Bromley will teach Art/DT and PSHE in the afternoon. In Year 6 we learn lots of exciting topics and help to prepare you to leave Primary School and move on to Secondary School. 

This page will keep you up to date on everything going on in Year 6 this year. 

Key information:

• PE will be taught on Friday and Wednesday afternoon, children should come to school in the correct PE kit every week. 
• Year 6 are 'buddied up' with a reception child at the start of the year, we meet regularly with our buddies throughout the year.
• Year 6 will be taught to play the ukulele by Miss Reynolds during Autumn 2. She is a grade 8 musician and studied at the Royal Northern College of Music. 
• Year 6 have lots of extra responsibilities throughout the year, during Autumn term we will be apointing the following roles; Worship leaders and Befrienders.
