Welcome to Class 3!

In Class 3, we love learning about a wide range of exciting topics! Miss Walsh is the class teacher, and Mrs. Watkins teaches on Thursdays. Our class enjoys exploring fascinating subjects such as the Stone Age to Iron Age, Ancient Greece, The United Kingdom, and the Conservation of Bees to name but a few! 

In Science, we have fun investigating Forces and Magnets, Rocks, and Light. We also stay active in PE, where we develop skills in hockey, football, netball, and athletics. Indoor PE is on Tuesday, and outdoor PE is on Thursday—please ensure your child is in the correct kit on these days. It would also be helpful if earrings are not worn on PE days, especially if your child finds them tricky to remove.

Mrs. Scott supports our class three mornings a week, working with both Class 3 and Class 4. We are lucky to go on a school trip each year, and last year we visited the incredible Magna science museum! Wonder where we’ll go this year? Stay tuned!

Homework is set every Wednesday and is due by the following Monday. Your child will receive three types of homework: talking homework, Maths, and English. Throughout the year, we also learn Spanish and have exciting cooking sessions with our very own school cook at least once a term.
