  • Open Week 2014 - Tour de France

Our annual Open Week  last year was based around the Tour de France as it passes past our school in July.  Children took part in lots of activities relating to all things French, Yorkshire and Cycling!

Our Year 6 class wrote a song 'Up a hill, down a hill'.  This was performed as a 'flashmob' in Halifax town centre.  Click here to see the video and article featured in the Yorkshire Post.  See if you can spot Mrs Schofield playing as a band member!

All children were given a comemerative cycling top to mark the occassion. We held a competition in school to design a special logo which was printed onto each top.  Special thanks to all of our sponsors who made this possible: Transline, Car and Commercial Vehicle Dismantlers, Brighouse, James Melia Photographers and Springhill Stone Ltd.
