The final day has been and gone, having left the children with an Indian experience which they will remember for some time.
Reception have learnt all about the Himalayas, Mount Everest, Thar Desert and Kerala beaches. They have also enjoyed tasting some Indian food.
Year 1 have created rangoli and henna hand patterns as well as fire work pictures, followed by food tasting.
In Year 2 the children tried on Saris (of all different colours) and also designed some henna hand patterns.
Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 have decorated some large rangoli patterns using a variety of materials.
Finally, across the whole school, all children took part in the Indian dance workshop which was showcased to parents in the afternoon.
