Today, the fourth day of Barkisland School's 'Cultural Week', has been all about The Americas.
All of the children have yet again enjoyed a creative and fun timetable.
Both Reception and Year 1 have made North American Indian headdresses, beaded bracelets and dream catchers, as well as learnt how to line dance!
Year 1 and 2 were challenged to make their own totem pole, which they did so successfully.
Whilst Year 3 and 4 have been looking at famous landmarks of N & S America, before finishing their day with some line dancing too.
Lastly Year 5 and 6 have enjoyed preparing costumes for their Rio carnival, as well as making delicious fruit kebabs.
