Today Barkisland School have spent the day learning about Chinese culture.
Reception have been making Chinese dragons, lanterns, chopsticks and masks.
In Year 1 they have made Chinese fans and lucky fish amongst lots of other things.
Year 2 have also been busy making their own lucky fish as well as learning some Chinese writing.
Years 3 and 4 have been researching facts around the Great Wall of China from which they have produced fact files and posters. They also made spring rolls.
Whilst in Years 5 and 6 the children have created their own terracotta Chinese warriors, using clay!
